AGC Georgia is governed by an elected Board of Directors, which includes four officers and the chief executive officer, who together comprise the Executive Committee. Board members are senior, C-Suite level executives from industry leading construction firms who volunteer their time to guide the association’s strategic direction and ensure its financial stability.
The president and vice president serve one-year terms, while the secretary and treasurer serve two-year terms before progressing to vice president and president, respectively. Most board members are elected to three-year terms. Additionally, the chair and vice chair of the Young Leadership Program Council and the Executive Alliance Program hold voting seats for two years.
Officers and board members are selected to reflect geographic diversity, markets served, and firm size. The Executive Committee and Board convene six times a year to focus on strategy, decision-making, problem-solving, and financial oversight.
