• Direct Engagement with Local OSHA Offices
  Local OSHA Compliance Assistance Specialists regularly participate in AGC Georgia Safety Committee meetings and member events. These interactions create an open forum for discussion, allowing contractors to ask questions, share challenges, and gain practical guidance in a collaborative, non‑enforcement setting.
• Alliance with OSHA Area Offices
  AGC Georgia holds a formal Alliance with OSHA’s Atlanta‑East, Atlanta‑West, and Savannah Area Offices to advance safety and health practices across Georgia’s construction industry. This partnership provides members with education, training, and access to resources aimed at reducing exposure to prevalent hazards such as falls, struck‑by incidents, trenching and excavation risks, scaffolding, confined spaces, and electrical hazards.   AGC Georgia is an active member of the Georgia Struck‑By Alliance, a coalition focused on reducing injuries and fatalities related to struck‑by and work zone hazards.
