AGC Corporate Safety Awards

AGC Georgia members can participate in AGC of America’s NASA Safety Award program, which is known as the Corporate Safety Award within AGC Georgia. This program provides an opportunity for general and specialty contractors to compare their safety records against national averages and with contractors of similar size and who perform similar types of construction.

Firms recognized by AGC of America for safety excellence are presented their awards at the AGC Georgia Annual Convention in June of each year.

Each year’s program opens for nominations in early December with the deadline for nominations set at the end of the following January. The below link is to the 2026 portal and a new portal will be provided for the January 2027 application period.

NASA Program Criteria for current nominations

AGC of America Safety Awards Criteria

1) AGC members receive an AGC of America Zero Incidence Rate Award by meeting the following criteria:

  • Zero lost work day cases for 2024

2) AGC members receive an AGC of America Certificate of Commendation for 25% Below Division Incidence Rate by meeting the following criteria:

  • 25% below division average for 2024
